On Saturday, August 15, 2009. the Emmaus Sentinels once again marched down the main streets of Emmaus and reclaimed their rightful place as the heartbeat of the community. The members of the corps, many of them original members, wish to express their profound appreciation to the corps organizers, members of the Board of Directors, and the instructors for their tireless efforts to make this a reality.

The parade celebrating the 250th and 150th Anniversaries of Emmaus which took place on Saturday, marked the result of almost two years' hard work to reform, re-equip, and reenergize the Emmaus Sentinels. But this is not the end. This debut is only the beginning of what promises to be a very successful continuation of service to the community.
